The COVID Injection/Autism Connection
A new study from Izmir University (Turkey) by Erdogan et al. demonstrates that rats who were born to mothers who received prenatal injections of the Pfizer BioNTech BNT162b2 COVID shot exhibited an increase in “autism-like behaviors,” a reduction in overall neuronal counts and decreased motor skills, among other anomalies.
The paper, entitled Prenatal Exposure to COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine BNT162b2 Induces Autism-Like Behaviors in Male Neonatal Rats: Insights into WNT and BDNF Signaling Perturbations uncovers some startling information that should give everyone pause when considering whether these shots are safe for women during pregnancy.
The Misleading Pregnancy/Injection Narrative
As the rest of the world is waking up to the dangers of the COVID shots, it is important to point out some key information related to the administration of COVID injections in prenatal settings.
As we saw throughout the aggressive COVID injection campaign, many health officials clamored breathlessly for pregnant women to receive the shots, claiming that there was an abundance of research showing that the shots were safe and effective for pregnant women. This tweet, taken from the CDC from February 2022 perfectly exemplifies the overall messaging at the time:
Also, take a look at this little gem we found from the CDC in December of 2020:
Let’s dissect this pure propaganda directly from the CDC:
“While studies have not yet been done, EXPERTS BELIEVE mRNA vaccines like COVID-19 vaccines are UNLIKELY to pose a risk for pregnant [women]” (emphasis added).
From logical fallacies (Ad Verecundiam - appeal to authority - “experts believe”) to basing assumptions on zero evidence (“studies have not yet been done”), this single sentence encapsulates the entire problem with the claims that the establishment has continued to make when it comes to recommending these shots for pregnant women.
“Surely there had to have been some studies done about the safety of these shots before recommending them to pregnant women, the most delicate group there is,” an inquisitive and well-meaning person might ask. And one would be very astute for asking such a question. But the truth is, Pfizer deliberately excluded pregnant women from their clinical trials of the BNT162b2 injection.
There was no data one way or the other when the shots came out, or for a long period of time after. It would take at least nine months to monitor safety in utero, followed by extensive research for years afterwards to make a factual determination about the overall safety for the infant whose mother received a shot while pregnant.
From the Pfizer Clinical Trial Paper entitled Safety and Efficacy of the BNT162b2 mRNA Covid-19 Vaccine (published December 2020):
This report does not address the prevention of Covid-19 in other populations, such as younger adolescents, children, and pregnant women.
From another paper entitled Exclusion of pregnant and lactating women from COVID-19 vaccine trials: a missed opportunity (published March 2021):
The exclusion of pregnant and lactating women from COVID-19 vaccine trials reflects a historic pattern of ‘protection by exclusion’, representing an instance in which the estimated effect of a therapy on mother and child will rely on anecdotal and delayed reports from healthcare settings rather than the monitored setting of a clinical trial. This exclusion is not justified. For example, Pfizer and Moderna excluded pregnant and lactating women from their mRNA COVID-19 vaccine trials.
Probably the most illustrative piece of evidence for the lack of testing in pregnant women continues to be the Comirnaty/COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine Risk Management Plan that frequently gets updated on the European Medicines Agency website at ema.europa.eu. The most recent appears to be October of 2023.
On Page 120, we see several sections that discuss information that we know is missing from the body of knowledge related to the overall safety of these shots. While the paper does allude to some studies that have been conducted in the time since the clinical trials, the overall message is that “the safety profile is not fully known in pregnant or breastfeeding women,” saying that more studies need to be conducted and more information is needed over a longer period of time.
While it looks like they are currently conducting studies and plan to release the findings later in 2024, there is still a large vacuum of information around this topic.
Autism-like Behavior In Rats
In looking at the findings of the aforementioned rat study, we can draw some startling conclusions.
From the abstract of the study:
Notably, male rats exhibited pronounced autism-like behaviors, characterized by a marked reduction in social interaction and repetitive patterns of behavior. Furthermore, there was a substantial decrease in neuronal counts in critical brain regions, indicating potential neurodegeneration or altered neurodevelopment. Male rats also demonstrated impaired motor performance, evidenced by reduced coordination and agility.
This study was conducted using 15 pregnant rats; 8 in the group that received the BNT162b2 injection and 7 in the placebo group. Out of these 15 pregnancies, 41 baby rats were born whose behavior was studied prior to them being culled in order to analyze their brains.
The breakdown was as follows:
10 male and 10 female rats in control group (saline-treated)
13 male and 8 female rats in BNT162b2 exposed group
The behavior testing included sociability tests (how the rats responded to fellow rats that were familiar and unfamiliar), Open Field Tests to determine its level of autonomous activity, Novelty-Induced Rearing Behavior that monitored how many times the rat stood erect on its hind legs and Rotarod testing, which monitored and tested the rat’s motor skills. We want to encourage all of you to read the study for more information on these testing methods.
Following the behavioral tests, the rats were euthanized, their brains extracted and analyzed using a variety of methods. The analysis of the brain focused on brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) levels, the Wnt signaling pathway and overall neuronal count.
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor [BDNF] is a secreted protein and a member of the neurotrophin family of growth factors that provide trophic support for neurons and encourage the growth and differentiation of new neurons and synapses.- Science Direct
The Wnt signaling pathway is an ancient and evolutionarily conserved pathway that regulates crucial aspects of cell fate determination, cell migration, cell polarity, neural patterning, and organogenesis during embryonic development. - Science Direct
The discussion of the paper shows a clear increase in overall autism-like symptoms with the BNT162b2 group, along with significantly decreased BDNF levels and a decrease in Wnt gene expression. The motor skills of the BNT162b2 group were also significantly decreased. The study notes that these decreases were most notable in the male group.
From the conclusion of the study:
In conclusion, our study presents evidence that the COVID-19 mRNA BNT162b2 vaccine impacts the WNT pathway and BDNF levels in rats, with particularly pronounced effects observed in males. These male-specific outcomes, including autism-like behaviors, reduced neuronal counts, and impaired motor performance, emphasize the potential neurodevelopmental implications of the vaccine, aligning with existing literature on the roles of the WNT pathway and BDNF signaling in neurodevelopmental disorders.
The study also calls for more research on this topic. Please make sure that you share this information with anyone in your life who may be pregnant, considering becoming pregnant, or even breastfeeding, and are being pressured to receive or are on the fence about any of the COVID injections.
