A few weeks ago we told you what happened in Denver. Recess canceled us, we moved to the Grizzly Rose anyway, and then we filed suit.
What we didn't tell you is what happened after.
We The Patriots USA picked up the fight.
This isn't some law firm we found in a Google search. We've had a relationship with We The Patriots USA for years, watching them fight for vaccine choice and medical freedom long before Denver ever happened.
So when Recess canceled us and this turned into a legal battle, there was only one call to make. We The Patriots USA stepping in wasn't just hiring a law firm, it was being gifted the chance to fight this the right way, with real resources behind us. It felt like divine timing. Two organizations that have been circling the same fight for years, finally landing in the same ring together. We are so thankful & grateful.
Here's what Brian Festa, Esquire, Vice President and Co-Founder of We The Patriots USA, had to say about stepping in:
We The Patriots USA is a 501c3 nonprofit and public interest law firm, that operates entirely on donations by generous donors who believe in medical freedom & the freedom to choose. No corporate backers, no government money, just people like you deciding this fight matters enough to fund it.
Every dollar that comes in is what lets them show up for cases like ours instead of letting families like ours get steamrolled because we can't afford a legal team on our own.

This is medical freedom being funded from the ground up, by us, for us. Every donation goes directly toward the good fight.
While we're on the topic, go check out their Substack too, they put out real, consistent coverage on medical freedom and vaccine choice cases across the country We The Patriots USA
And if you want to see Brian and me together already, go watch the episode we did on their show.
Then stay tuned, because I am honored to once again be joining the
Seventh Annual Vaccine Safety Awareness Marathon alongside so many prestigious doctors. Coming soon, and I'm grateful to them for hosting it.
Where the case actually stands.
I've always been an open book and I'm not about to stop now, so here's the real update. Recess has filed a motion to dismiss. We expected it, we're not rattled by it, and we are filing our opposition. This is just the opening move on the chessboard, not a setback, just the ball getting kicked down the field the way these things go. Federal litigation is slow by design. We're in it for as long as it takes.
Why this is bigger than “one canceled mixer.”
This is not about a beer garden in Denver anymore. This is about whether a business gets to punish adults for a private medical decision and get away with it, and somebody has to be the one to stand up and say no, not this time.
That is exactly what this lawsuit is doing, and it is exactly why We The Patriots USA exists.
If a win here means the next couple, the next community, the next family doesn't get shown the door for existing, then this fight is worth everything we are putting into it.
To everyone who commented, shared, and refused to let this get buried, thank you.
You built the pressure that got this into the hands of people who could actually do something with it.
If you want to help push it further, back the movie at givesendgo.com/unjected.
Let's go win this thing.
Love,
Shelby and the Unjected Team
